1. Acceptance & Definitions
- Using the E-Summit IITR website/services means you accept these Terms. If you disagree, stop using the site.
Definitions:
- Visitor: Browses the site
- Member: Registered user
- User: Visitor or Member
- Authorized User: Valid login credentials holder
- Services: All online features provided by E-Summit IITR
- Unauthorized credential use is prohibited.
- E-Summit may update Terms anytime; continued use = acceptance.
- If Terms conflict with the Privacy Policy, Terms apply.
2. Eligibility
- Available to individuals who completed high school; minors must use under guardian supervision.
- E-Summit may suspend accounts anytime.
- Registration is valid only when enrolled in an event/workshop.
3. Services
E-Summit IITR offers tools for organizers to host events, set prices, manage tickets, and collect registrations.
Customers:
- Organizers, Attendees, Affiliates.
4. Organizer Terms
- E-Summit acts as a sales agent authorized to sell tickets, process payments, dispatch tickets, and send reminders.
- Organizers accept all payment-gateway terms.
5. Attending Events
- E-Summit is not liable for cancellations, injuries, denial of entry, safety issues, or accommodation concerns.
- Accommodation (if provided): 10 AM–10 PM only.
6. Ticket Delivery
Tickets may be digital, postal, or picked up at the venue. Offline ticketing may be supported.
7. Payment
- Transaction-based model; organizers pay all taxes.
- Only tickets bought from official payment links are valid.
- Buying an event ticket is mandatory before purchasing workshops.
8. Event Changes
Organizers must immediately report changes to event date, time, or venue.
9. Prize Distribution
Prize structure:
- ≤5 teams → only 1st prize
- ≤9 teams → 1st & 2nd
- 9+ teams → 1st, 2nd, 3rd
- Prizes may include coupons/vouchers.
- Only undergraduate teams are eligible.
10. Accounting
- Funds are held separately and transferred to organizers within 5–7 business days post-event.
- Discrepancies must be reported within 4 weeks.
- SBI Clause: Settlements and payouts are through SBI, IITR Branch.
11. Fraud Control
- E-Summit may delay/block payouts up to 60 days if fraud is suspected.
- Organizers must provide government/company ID when required.
12. Organizer Warranty
Organizers confirm legal rights to host events, authorize ticket sales, and comply with laws. They indemnify E-Summit for violations.
13. Organizer Duties
Organizers must not post illegal, offensive, harmful, deceptive, or adult/extremist content, nor impersonate others.
14. Termination
E-Summit may terminate access anytime for breach or misconduct.
15. Ticket Buyer Terms
- Ticket prices are listed on-site. Verify tickets within 2 working days.
- Organizers/venues may deny entry or alter event details anytime.
- No refunds for cancelled/postponed events.
- Buyers must check event updates.
- Data may be shared with services like Zapier.
16. General Terms
- Not responsible for advertising inaccuracies.
- Forward-looking statements may differ in reality.
- All platform IP belongs to E-Summit IITR.
- User content remains user-owned.
- Data may be disclosed when legally required.
17. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India, including applicable laws of the State of Uttarakhand.
18. Jurisdiction
Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of this platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts located in Haridwar, Uttarakhand, India.
